Tuesday, July 12: 7:30am – 10:00 am

There will be no on-site registration.  Please do not bring any guests with you to attempt to register on-site or to attend any Institute functions with you.  In order to accommodate all registered attendees, invited guests who are not registered as attendees for the Institute will not be able to attend the workshop sessions or meal functions, such as breakfast, lunch or evening events.

We are ecstatic to extend an invitation for you to join us for the CABSE Chairman’s Soiree – Napa style – on Monday, July 11th!  The Soiree will take place outdoors and the attire is all white.

CABSE will not be providing any ground transportation from the airport or overflow hotel. If you are not planning to rent a car, we suggest utilizing a ride sharing service such as Uber, Lyft, etc.

Due to the outpouring of support from across the nation, we are currently at capacity with a waiting list of individuals and districts interested in attending. If your travel plans have changed and you will not be able to join us, please notify us so that we may accommodate individuals on the waiting list.

Dr. Marks has asked that all attendees take the Harvard Implicit Associations Test (IAT). PLEASE TAKE THE TEST AS CLOSE TO THE TRAINING AS POSSIBLE BUT NO MORE THAN 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THE TRAINING. Below are detailed instructions:

  • Go to this website:
  • At the very bottom of the page, to the left – select “Take A Test.”
  • On the “Preliminary Information” page, please be sure to review the Preliminary Information, then, at the bottom, select “I wish to proceed.”
  • When provided with the list of tests, please select the Gender-Career IAT.
  • If you do not see your selected test, refresh the page.
  • Print out the results page and bring it to the training. You can also save the results page as a pdf or screenshot, and have it available at the time of your training session.
  • We will use polling software that will allow attendees to anonymously submit their results; participants will not have to submit their results page.
  • We will discuss the group’s results as a whole.

Thank you again for participating in the 2nd Annual CABSE Institute.

We look forward to seeing you in Napa!
